The Opportunity:

Lotek’s Sales and Marketing Department in Newmarket, Ontario has a really cool opportunity for the right person. We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager for the Wildlife Segment. This position includes some North American travel for approximately 8 weeks per year.

Requirements:

As a minimum, the successful candidate must have a University degree in Business (MBA preferred), Biology or Electrical Engineering. A minimum of seven years sales experience (technical preferred) is required with a demonstrated successful track record.

The candidate must be a ‘hunter’, a problem solver, detail oriented and critical thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills. An interest in and an awareness of ecological issues is an asset. You see feedback or failure as motivation to learn and to grow.

Duties:

Working within the Marketing group, the successful candidate will consult with scientists from business, government and academia to provide custom solutions involving radio and satellite tracking systems. This position will also liaise extensively with production and product management to ensure customers’ expectations of product delivery and product features are met.
