The Assistant Deli Manager will assist with the overall operations of the Deli Department to improve customer service, program execution and department profitability. Along with assisting in the overall management of store standards, implementation and adherence to company programs, policies and procedures, and other management related activities.

Reporting to the Deli Manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establishes high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work
  • Creating and maintain a great customer experience for both external and internal
  • Ensure food safety and quality control of all products at all times
  • Supporting the manager with inventory, waste control/management
  • Ensure health and safety standards are executed
  • Organizing special promotions, displays and events
  • Physical Requirements are required as a Manager in IGA

Experience:

  • Must have valid work authorization in Canada
  • Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
  • 2+ years of Management experience in a Deli Department or related field
  • Loves working in a clean and well-maintained workplace environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well with others in a high-pressure environment

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
