Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our automotive shop. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Complete all necessary repairs and document all work performed
  • Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and necessary repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic
  • Red Seal certification is preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver's license
