Come join our fun and adventurous team! You will be working in a natural playground of rugged coastal mountains, rainforests and ocean. Spend your summer getting paid to be where others vacation!

Get to know us:

Goose Landing Residence is a private residence on beautiful Stuart Island, 1 hour east of Campbell River on Vancouver Island by boat. The residence consists of several buildings, workshops, gardens, and plenty of road and pathways. We have a small, passionate team that cares for and oversees the property, its owners and its guests.

Who you are:

• You have a desire to live and work in a remote setting.
• You've got great communication skills and like to work as part of a team.
• You've got experience with landscaping, power, and hand tools.
• You enjoy landscaping work and being outdoors in changing weather.
• You have the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and work while standing/walking.
• You've got your Occupational First Aid Level 1
• You've got your SVOP or Pleasure Craft Operators Card (an asset)

What you’ll be doing:

• You'll be mowing lawns and raking
• You'll be removing weeds
• You'll be grading roads and maintaining trails
• You'll be assisting with landscaping projects
• You'll be doing general property and building maintenance

Working with us:

This position has an anticipated start date of May 1, 2023. The schedule is 8 on and 6 off with a signed averaging agreement.

Meals and staff accommodation are included in the employment package!
