Job Description
Skanna Security is looking for a Part-time Mobile Security Guard that will do 3-4 nights of Mobile patrol on the different client facilities and be cross-trained with site duties and protocols.
Driver must be 25 or over and have a full G with a clean driving abstract.
Mobile Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate company vehicle at various site
- Maintain company equipment in serviceable condition by cleaning, inspecting, and correcting minor faults.
- Patrols buildings and grounds; responds to and reports unusual incidents and occurrences in order to minimize or deter the development of hazardous or dangerous situations.
- Prepare and maintain job-related forms, records, and reports
- Relieve Security Guards for breaks
- Stand down to cover book off's and no shows
Security Guard Responsibilities and Duties
- Visitor Access Control.
- Maintain order and follow and adhere to post orders.
- Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, telephone paging systems).
- Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrolling.
- Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Respond to alarms, bomb threats, and other emergencies.
- Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism.
- Report writing.
Qualifications, Required Licence or Certification:
- Must possess valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- CPR Level C Certified
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle
- Must be available to do shift work: Days, nights, weekends
- Must have clean driving abstract
- Must possess a full G license classification.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs site-specific.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Willing to travel 40-50 kilometers to work if needed.
