BSI BUILD is looking for a Site Manager - Quality Control with Commercial builder experience to join our team.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager, assist in the preparation of the project schedule; execute at site level
  • Quality control of building construction
  • Follow through building code and corporate safety requirements on all sites
  • Maintain construction sites cleanliness and safety from garbage and debris, snow removal, sweeping and pressure washing, and ensuring that access into and out of sites are safe and clean
  • Perform deficiency repairs such as framing repairs, minor taping and paint repairs, install locks and miscellaneous hardware, cabinet and flooring touch ups, door adjustment, stairs and handrail installation, flooring repairs
  • Installation of Millwork & Finish components
  • Complete Daily Hazard assessments
  • Assist with quality controls checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy per company's standard
  • Communicate with trades, suppliers, and clients by phone, email, or in person as instructed
  • Complete physical tasks using a variety of hand and power tools and assist trades with various construction activities
  • Travel within Western Canada will be required

General Requirements are:

  • Minimum five (5) year’s experience as a Site Superintendent/Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
  • Interior improvements and ground up build experience is an asset
  • Finish carpentry skills an asset
  • Schedule and time management skill
  • Ability to read and interpret building plans/blueprints, preferred
  • Demonstrates communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and adherence to safety practices and company safety programs is of the utmost importance
  • Up to date first aid certificate required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
