Position Title: Warehouse Worker/personnel
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Duration: Full Time
We are currently looking to add a full-time, day shift Warehouse employee to our team. Someone who is equally passionate about serving the community and achieving operational success alongside our dedicated and loyal employees.
Located at our facility at 17508-116 Avenue NW, Edmonton, the Warehouse employee will report to the Operations Superior and will work primarily on the Cross Dock loading and offloading trailers using a propane or electric forklift.
Shift:- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 04:30pm with overtime when required.
- Help offload trailers
- Work as a team
- Help drivers route plan/navigate
- Provide customer service where required
- Load and unload materials / packages from pallets skids platforms using counter balance forklift (propane or electric)
- Accurately ship and receive product
- Report damages and all incidents to lead hand / supervisor
- Hand bombing required of items from truck on every delivery
- Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner
- Ensure accuracy and record all deliveries on timesheet
- Experience considered an asset
- Have steel-toed safety boots
- Must pass a criminal background check; must be bondable
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesFollow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
- Accurately weigh and document materials
- Work in a fast-paced/physically demanding environment
- LTL freight experience is an asset
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience operating powered/manual pallet jacks and dollies/wheelers is an asset
- Must be able to work in a cold/hot environment; outside work
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Work in a fast-paced/physically demanding environment
