Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and solutions-oriented Account Manager to join our Toronto studio. Based in Toronto Canada, Norm Li creates visual content for the Real Estate Development, Architecture and Design industry. We provide Renderings, Animation, Photography, Video, Interactive and VR solutions that get buy-in, instill stakeholder confidence and get our partners the green light to put shovels in the ground.

As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our services throughout the production of architectural visualization projects, all while maintaining our company’s creative integrity and revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in account management or client services, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for design and creative content creation.

You will work directly with and be provided with training from the following:

  • Team/Project Leads

Essential Functions

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring their needs are met throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive customer satisfaction and retention
  • Proactively identify and solve client issues and concerns, working with internal cross-functional teams to find solutions.
  • Be able to translate the creative teams ideas into a convincing proposal for clients
  • Collaborate with project coordinators, project leads, production teams, and other internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Support the team’s creative integrity and art direction with tact and collaboration in mind.
  • Pitch our various product lines and find opportunities to provide our clients with more full service solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape to stay ahead of the competition

Work Environment

  • After a 3 month probationary period, we offer an extensive health benefits package with 2 weeks of vacation and an additional 2 weeks of extended company holidays (Birthdays, extra day off during summer long weekends, and extended winter holidays)
  • We offer a hybrid work environment with Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office.
  • Onboarding occurs in-office to ensure hands-on training and experience.
  • Travel to and from Toronto area clients/sites visits is sometimes necessary for meetings

Expected Hours of Work

  • Regular hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, averaging 40 hours per week. Overtime is not common but may be necessary at times. Overtime is either paid in time and a half, or compensated as time in lieu.

Required Qualifications

  • Post secondary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Visual Communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience
  • Project experience working in a studio or agency environment
  • Background working with creative teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Comfortability working in a dynamic, deadline-oriented setting while managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can identify risks, analyze options, and present solutions
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Suites
  • Experience with management tools, such as Monday and Hubspot

Recommended Qualifications

  • Interest/Knowledgeable in Architecture, Real Estate Development, and/or Design industries
  • Knowledge of architectural software such as AutoCad and Revit
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering software and process
