Legacies Health Centre has a part time contractor opportunity (working 6 to 12 hours per week on evenings and Saturdays) available for a Kinesiologist to work at our North Vancouver site.

Clinical duties include:


1. Work one-on-one with clients rehabilitating injuries or seeking general fitness training

2. Implement, monitor and progress exercise and work simulation programs

3. Communicate with ICBC adjustors to arrange Active Rehab coverage, provide patient updates and progress/discharge reports

4. Experience communicating with ICBC including completing initial assessments, extension requests, progress and discharge reports

5. Create and/or contribute to program design and exercise prescription in person but also online as needed.

6. Lead clients through individualized exercise plans – accurately assessing, communicating, and providing hands-on treatment to facilitate goal attainment for the client

Mentoring and training will be provided. The Kinesiologist will work, at times, independently and at other times will work on a team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists/Counselors, Physicians, and Administrative Staff.

The successful candidate has excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills; and the ability to multi-task and prioritize with a focus on customer service. We seek an energetic team player who is a member or eligible for membership in the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists, with an interest in orthopedics and musculo-skeletal conditions. Travel may be required within the community.
